Published? You? Lulu! by C. L. Kennedy So many excellent poets with publishable material still remain unpublished. They think the only option left is to pay a vanity press a ton of money up front to publish their work, but this isn't true. There are other royalty-paying companies such as Publish America that don't charge for publication. But what if you want your work in print NOW? FAST? Then use Lulu Press, Inc. This is a reputable online company that lets you control every step of the publishing process, even down to royalties. Below is a brief overview of how Lulu works. 1. Visit www.lulu.com click on "Sign up," and register for your free "Creator" account. 2. Once you're logged in, click on "Start New Project," and on the next page choose what kind of content you'll be publishing. Content includes books, e-books, CDs, and more. 3. Fill in the requested information, such as author's name, using a pen name if you wish; copyright holder, which is you; publisher, which is also you or a name you've chosen; etc. 4. Fill in the book description, rate your content according to the readers' age, and click "Save". 5. Choose your book size and binding options. Lulu produces paperback, hardcover, and e-books of various sizes, and they're all listed for you. You can also choose from coil, perfect, and saddle-stitch binding.
