What is interesting for me, is that when I go to write a poem questions storm my mind. I ask myself: "What do I feel like writing about?", "Is there a story that I'd like to share?" or "Should I rhyme my feelings?'' I usually go by the last question. I am a very young passionate teenage-hormone creating machinge. So that is what inspires me. As you can see, most of my poems are in the "Love" or "Erotica" sections, because that is of my interests. I usually get my poems from my inspirational bank: my boyfriend. What we do, you read. Lol. Well if you are inspired by love, you know how great it is for your writing, I do. Sincerely, Kelcie Brynn Orphey

I too, although nowhere near the "teen hormone" era any longer, ask myself the same questions and write basically from the erotic side . Some things close the age gap such as love, tenderness and passion. May your passion's fires never die.

kelcie, It is great that you from the heart, as many things in life inspire us to write, but from the heart is always the best. Thanks for sharing your inspiration! ;DJoe

I also have wondered 'Should I rhyme my feelings?' It seems a bit hokey but also therapeutic to just get them out there. And kelciebrynn has some great work! Really enjoy reading it. -------- Favorite love quote: "My river runs to thee. Blue sea, wilt thou welcome me?" - Emily Dickinson Source: short love poems
