I have just finished this one, a very difficult rhyme
I think it one of my best poems,
It needs some punctuation and maybe one or two word
Changes I hope whoever reads it likes it
Thank you.
BALLADE:
Poem with three seven-eight or ten-line stanza’s
Respectively, among the rhyme schemes and Envoys I take my
Example that is ababbcbc with a refrain at the end bcbc
BALLADE:
This Ballard its radiant music swiftly flew,
Whose echoes the melody drifting sent
Sweet voice remembering only you
While angels for my true love lent
This, singer’s rhyme from heaven went
Flying swiftly through my memory
Her hazel eyes grows in remembrance
Where my true love shall ever be.
The calm air silent flowing straight and true,
In the softness amid the earths fury vent,
Languid skies and sunset’s thoughts renew,
In the shadows now, nevermore repent.
Sweet lady held always in reverence,
In her rose clasped hand shall ever be,
The beauty of this spell held strangely hence,
In my dreams God made her for me.
The music plays the Ballard over all who,
Here Harps, whose sweet voices floating sent?
With symbols, through desperate passions flew;
Quickening now through every consequence.
My love, oh fair jewel held by my penitence,
These tender tones universally that all may see.
Songs of love again awakens my enclosed innocence
As our heart beats united two spirits fulfilled will be.
L’ENVOI
Her golden flowing hair then went,
Into my arms holding her tenderly,
Deep as her kisses, once more content
That now I love as you once loved me.
