If you are anything like me, you tend to fall short of ever achieving your goals. Then again, if you're like me you set goals that no human could ever achieve. XD In which case, we are (hopefully) forgiven.
What are your New Year's Resolutions, and do you think you'll be able to accomplish them?
My resolutions are:
1. Get a job. This is an important one! Besides having the spending cash that crazy kids who live with their parents just happen to love, I plan on taking a few trips this year. I'd like to travel to Chicago for a book signing and visit my best friend in Virginia. <3
2. Better sewing skills. I plan to major in fashion design whenever I get to college, and I'm sure sewing is an important part in all that. ;D I know they teach you, but I'd like to have a good grasp on it before I immerse myself in a learning world. I have never been behind, and I know sewing will kick my butt.
3. Learn to bellydance. One of my good friends who is an overworked mother of two has been bellydancing for some time now. She has proclaimed it to be a great way to loosen up, gain confidence and just feel good about yourself. I'd like to test this out, but I'm sure I'm going to look like a spaz.
4. Find a new studio to practice martial arts. Martial arts has been a great passion of mine for years. I was once an assistant martial art instructor, and it really was the best time of my life. Unfortunately, injuries do happen and can ruin a good thing. I've since recovered, and I'm looking to come back kicking. XD
I think these are all very doable, and I'll hopefully accomplish them before June!
