Sails and Mirrors/ Reflections In The Wind Like poetry and prose mounted elequently from the yardarms in spirit flight with cosmic stardust and all the colors of butterflies Moonlight caresses them sunlight embraces them as they reach for mysteries too far for the human eye Wind-spun gowns delicatly trimmed for roach and camber sing pure truths of propulsion while songs of joy and curiosity gleefuly intoxicate thirsty ears In hypnotic dream-motion over a liquid dance floor flirting with the supernatural which offer-up temptations to reach unreachable horizons somehow reflecting our divine imaginations Slowly vibrating like drums in rhythmic simplicity while gently whispering aerodynamic metaphors of sublime sojourn that tacks us across the waves shimmering inside our hearts Fires ignite, then glow inside body, mind and soul now fully-rigged with passion and purpose to sail over a liquid abyss which seems to separate us from ourselves The sails then take our breath then become like mirrors eflecting a polished inner language of wind, water, humility and awe finally letting us see how fragile we really are. markusurealious/windpoet

Your poem is beautiful.. love the imagery. I like to go tubing on a boat and enjoy the wind in my face... but have never went on a sail boat! =(
