Wait for the picture to load Reply with your Haiku on this pic. If this is popular, we'll do a second challenge example Haiku (5-7-5): Intertwined in art Dew catches cascading rays Between swaying twigs

gummybear68 Amazing line: lines of fate drawn taught
Very Nice ;D The Poet I liked your concept too! Especially your opening line The web of time weaves but yours missed the 5-7-5, or is that your Haiku style? I got 5-3-5 on your 2nd one, and 5-6-3 on the 1st one I really love this challenge...it's amazing how we all can say and see so many different things from one picture. ;

I like this too very much! It is a huge challenge considering this is my first time to really try to attempt a Haiku! So I was probably way off, but at least I tried! ;D Lets keep this going! It helps to build writing skills and the imagination! This is what they do in college creative writing!

gummybear68 another winner..I think your 2nd one is even better than the first ;D ThePoet...lets see if I can help For your first Haiku's you did really well, and I agree…its fun to learn new styles First Haiku works with syllables instead of words...we'll use mine... Intertwined in art Dew catches cascading rays Between swaying twigs In ter twined in art = 5 Dew cat ches cas cad ing rays = 7 Be tween sway ing twigs = 5 There is also a post on this board with a bit of Haiku history..I'll sticky it, so it can be easily found. Hope that helps

Misty morning dream Finds the snare amid the boughs Wraps a home in me
I'd be the vanishing one! As before, that is quite an inspiring image...and I agree, it is amazing to read the different impressions it has made...well done to all on capturing a moment of beauty and thanks for the challenge.

Aah see I told you I had cobwebs for brains! LOL! It is odd I love to write and yet sometimes I wonder! You know in college I made an A in creative writing, an A in spanish ( I was born speaking english) and an F in English Comp 2. LOL! I don't know rather it was all me or the teacher (he was very arrogant)! But I am beginning to think it was me! LOL Let me try again! But right now I have writers block
